Unity of Sheboygan Silent Auction
October 3 & 10, 2010
Unity of Sheboygan is a community of creative, talented people. In October, we will be holding a "Fun/Fundraiser" for the church designed to highlight the talents of our members and friends. Begin planning now to be a part of our Silent Auction! How can you participate? We invite you to participate by donating an item(s) you have made (examples: jewelry, drawings, paintings, hand-made journals, wine, silk flower arrangements, etc.) and item you put together (examples: gift basket of personal items, gardening items, etc.), or a service you put together (examples: decorating consult, dinner in your home for a number of people, gardening), or perhaps you have an antique you have collected which you would now like to share with someone else. Or, are you someone who has a talent for asking businesses to donate a gift certificate which could be placed in the auction. (Note: this is not the time to clean out your closets of unwanted items-please save those things for circulation day). When the auction is held, you can participate by viewing all items and writing a bid on the sheet refelcting that item. At the end of the auction period, the highest bidder will be awarded the item. You can suggest a minimum bid for your item; if the bid is not met, the item will be returned to you. All profits of the auction wil go to Unity of
Sheboygan. Any item you bring to the auction is a donation from you. For more details, pick up a flyer in the church bookstore, or see Tracy or Sandy Folz.
(We are starting to get wonderful items for this auction: Barry's bird prints, Randy's painting, a Day of Golf at Whistling Straits, gift baskets, etc. Thank you to all who have donated or have signed up to donate!)
