The Holy Pause
This month we begin exploring The Art of Contemplation, inspired by the work of Richard Rudd and rooted deeply in our own New Thought understanding of Silence. In a world that moves quickly and reacts instantly, we are rediscovering something ancient and powerful: the sacred pause. Scripture reminds us, “Be still and know that I am God.” Stillness is not inactivity — it is alignment. It is the space where Spirit speaks.
The practice of pausing is simple, yet transformative. Before we respond, before we decide, before we assume — we breathe. In that brief moment of awareness, we shift from reaction to response, from fear to faith, from habit to Presence.
Join us this Sunday as we explore how one small, holy pause can open the doorway to greater peace, clarity, and compassion in our daily lives.
